Martin J. Sheehan
Martin J. Sheehan was a circuit court judge for the Sixteenth Circuit, serving Kenton County of Kentucky.[1] He was elected to the court in November 2007, and he retired from the bench at the end of his term in January 2015.[2]
Education
Sheehan received his undergraduate degree from Northern Kentucky University in 1980 and his J.D. degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1983.[3]
Career
Before joining the Sixteenth Circuit Court in 2007, Sheehan served as a district court judge for the 16th District Court from 1994 until his election to the circuit court in 2007. He also previously worked as an attorney in private practice for ten years and served as a member on the Kentucky House of Representatives for five years.[3]
