I am a long-time resident of north Spokane dedicated to educational excellence. With a strong background in community service, I advocate for safe high-performing schools that prepare all students for success. I believe there is not greater gift that a community can give than an education that includes rigor and accountability.
  • Safe and inclusive environments in schools are crucial for fostering belonging and respect among students.
  • When educators feel valued, they invest more in their students' success. Policies that ensure fair compensation and professional development enhance job satisfaction and improve student outcomes, creating a stronger educational system.
  • A clear and detailed budget is essential for effectively tracking expenses and to avoid overspending. This transparency establishes trust and allows Mead to use its resources more responsibly.

Building strong relationships with parents is essential to a successful school district. As a school board member, I would prioritize open, respectful, and ongoing communication with families across the Mead School District. I believe parents are partners in their children’s education.
