Martin Tejeda is a judge of the Superior Court of Sacramento County in California. He assumed office on May 7, 2025. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.
Tejeda was appointed to the court on May 7, 2025 by Governor of California Gavin Newsom (D) to replace Dena Coggins.[1]
Biography
Tejeda earned his J.D. from McGeorge School of Law.[2]
Prior to being appointed to the Superior Court of Sacramento County in California, Tejeda served as a Commissioner at the Sacramento County Superior Court from 2023 to 2025. He has also served in private practice and as a Deputy Public Defender at the Sacramento Public Defender's Office from 2001 to 2004.[3]
