Weinberg ran for election to the 10th Circuit Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 57.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Everett W. Wess.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 49.7 percent of the vote. He competed against incumbent J. William Cole.

Education
Weinberg earned his B.A. from the University of Georgia in 1999 and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2002.[3]
Career
Weinberg is a practicing attorney who represents clients of lower income in various matters from criminal to civil.[3]
