In 2016, Lancton was elected President of the Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association, representing firefighters on issues related to safety, labor rights, and working conditions. In 2017, he was elected Vice President of the Texas State Association of Fire Fighters.
Lancton also serves as Chairman of the Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association Charitable Foundation, a role he has held since 2015. He founded the Red Hot Gala, which has raised nearly $5 million to support firefighters and children in need.- Make Harris County Safer. Marty Lancton prioritizes public safety by supporting law enforcement and first responders with the resources needed to fight rising crime.
