Marty Riske
Marty Riske was the 2016 Libertarian candidate for governor of North Dakota.[1] He was defeated in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Biography
Riske is a Fargo businessman who serves as the president of multiple companies, including several technology companies and a chain of family hair salons. He formerly served as state chair of the Libertarian party.[2]

Riske ran as the Libertarian candidate for governor of North Dakota on a joint ticket with lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Joshua Voytek (Lib.) in 2016.[1] The two competed in the November 8 general election with Republican businessman Doug Burgum and his running mate, Watford City Mayor Brent Sanford (R); and Democratic state Rep. Marvin Nelson and his running mate, state Sen. Joan Heckaman (D).
