Hollingsworth ran in the 2012 election for Oregon House District 52. Hollingsworth was defeated by Peter Nordbye in the Democratic primary on May 15. Incumbent Mark Johnson (R) ran unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
