Marvin Isgur is a judge on the United States bankruptcy court, Southern District of Texas. Judge Isgur was appointed on February 1, 2004, and re-appointed on February 1, 2018. His term will expire on January 31, 2032.[1][2] On May 5, 2009, he succeeded Wesley Steen as Chief Judge for a three-year term.[3]

Education

Judge Isgur received both his undergraduate and J.D. from the University of Houston.[4] He also received a graduate degree from Stanford University.[3]

Career

Isgur serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Houston Law Center.[5]
