2017
Jeffcoat provided the following candidate statement for the New York City voter guide:
“ |
Marvin is running for three basic reasons. Firstly, Marvin wants to help return our City and our district to a rule of law that works for everyone. Current policy places the desire of special interest groups above the safety of the taxpayer. We need to return to a consistent rule of law that all individuals, across our city, take seriously and adhere to. Secondly, Marvin is tired of the lip service! For nearly four years, we have stood by and indulged a failed mayor and an incompetent City Council. We need to review current policy and eliminate those that are both harmful and that reduce the safety and quality of life of our city. Finally, Marvin is running because we can do better and deserve better, and he has the leadership skills and tenacity to lead District 26 and New York.[8][9] |
