Krakower discussed why he sought re-election with Micromedia Publications Inc.

I am seeking re-election to build on the momentum we have created and to make sure we don’t lose sight of what our taxpayers demand of us –which is creating a quality education while being smart about our finances. We have a new superintendent, new initiatives designed to increase security, a revised and strong curriculum. All of those elements are so important to a successful school district and I feel I am in a great position to make sure we keep that momentum going.[8]
