Marvin Lucas Jr. (North Carolina)
Marvin Lucas, Jr. (Democratic Party) was a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 42. He assumed office in 2001. He left office on January 1, 2025.
Lucas (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the North Carolina House of Representatives to represent District 42. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Lucas previously served as Deputy Minority Whip.
Biography
Lucas received his B.S. from Fayetteville State University in 1964, his M.A. from North Carolina Central University in 1975 and his Ed.S. at East Carolina University in 1977. He is a retired teacher and principal.
