James is a former Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 34A from 1999 to 2015.
Biography
Mary-Dulany James graduated from Havre de Grace High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland at College Park and a law degree from the University of Maryland. James' career experience includes working as a partner with the law firm of James and Zink.[1]

The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Mary-Dulany James defeated Arthur Helton, Jr. in the Democratic primary, while Bob Cassilly was unopposed in the Republican primary. Cassilly defeated James in the general election.[2][3][4]

On November 7, 2006, Mary-Dulany James ran for District 34A of the Maryland House of Delegates, winning the first of two seats, beating B. Daniel Riley, Glen Glass, and Sheryl Kohl.[6]
