Arand received her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz and her J.D. degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1979.[2][3]
Career
From 1999 until her appointment to the Superior Court of Santa Clara County in 2006, Arand was a partner with the law firm of McManis, Faulkner & Morgan. She also previously was a partner with the Clark & Arand Partnership/Association and worked as an associate attorney at the firm of Howell & Hallgrimson.[4][2]
