Mary Bednar
Mary Bednar is a judge for the New York County Family Court in New York. She was appointed to this position in March of 1986 and was reappointed in August of 2005. She retired in 2015.[1][2]
Education
Bednar attended Michigan State University for her bachelor's degree and the University of Michigan for her J.D.[3][1]
Career
Prior to her judicial appointment, Bednar worked as a private practice lawyer, served in the New York State Attorney General's Office, and served in the Legal Aid Society. She was appointed to the family court in 1986.[1]
