Mary Carolyn Morgan was a judge for the Superior Court of San Francisco in California. She retired from the court in March 2011.[1] Morgan was the first out lesbian judge to serve in the nation, upon her appointment by Governor Jerry Brown in 1981.[1]
2010 election
She was re-elected to another six-year term.[2]
