Mary D. Colins
Mary D. Colins was a judge on the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania.[1] Colins was elected to the court in 1989 and retained in 1999. In 2004, Colins resigned from the bench to become the first female member of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.[2] Colins returned to the court in 2009 as a senior judge.[3]
Education
Colins earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Temple University. She also holds a Masters from Villanova University.[4]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Colins was the assistant chief of the economic crimes section at the District Attorney's office.[2]
