2016
Felzkowski's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[12]
“ | Invest in Rural Schools
I understand that our rural schools face unique challenges. That’s why I voted to invest $200 million in our public schools. I know an investment in our classrooms is a direct investment in our children’s futures. I also authored first-of-its-kind legislation to build high-tech workshops in our schools, helping prepare our students for local, in-demand trades. Strengthen our Workforce I understand what it takes to create jobs in northern Wisconsin. Born and raised right here in Tomahawk, I have been building my small business here for nearly three decades. That’s why I supported investing $65 million in worker training initiatives designed to connect individuals with family-supporting jobs. Focus on Our Community It’s no secret that northern Wisconsin’s population is rapidly aging. I helped lead recent efforts to invest in research and care for those suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia in rural Wisconsin. I also supported legislation to help those in our community battling drug addiction. Reduce Fraud and Waste You work hard to provide for your family and I am hard at work protecting your tax dollars from waste and fraud. By supporting drug testing and reforms to Wisconsin’s entitlement programs, I am committed to reining in waste in state government.[13] |

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
