The general election was held on November 8, 2016. A primary election was held on July 7, 2016. The candidate filing deadline for this election was on March 11, 2016.[1] Incumbent Mary Graham defeated Alyce Pipkin-Allen in the San Diego Community College District general election for the District D seat.[2]
