Mary Gwyneth Whalen
Mary Gwyneth Whalen was a judge for the Colorado 20th Judicial District Court. She was appointed to this position in October of 2006.[1] She retired from the bench on August 31, 2013 and returned to a position as special counsel at her former law firm, Caplan and Earnest LLC.[2]
Education
Whalen received her undergraduate degree from Colgate University and her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.[1]
Career
Whalen began her career as an Assistant Boulder County Attorney specializing in child protection. She then became a private practice lawyer. At the time of her judicial appointment in 2006, she was a partner and the chair of the litigation section at the law firm of Caplan and Earnest LLC.[1]
