Elections for the Arizona House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election took place on August 30, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was June 1, 2016.[3] Incumbents Eric Meyer (D) and Kate Brophy McGee (R) did not seek re-election.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was May 28, 2014. Incumbent Eric Meyer was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Kate Brophy McGee and Shawnna Bolick defeated Mary Hamway in the Republican primary. Meyer and McGee defeated Bolick and Zhani Doko (L) in the general election.[8][9][10][11]
