Campaign themes

2014

Kubicki's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[1]

Create a business friendly state

  • Excerpt: "The best possible way to encourage job creation and economic growth is to reduce the cost of doing business and get out of the way of entrepreneurs and job creators."

Develop a stronger workforce

  • Excerpt: "If Ohio wants to recruit quality jobs, we need to have a quality workforce."

Healthcare

  • Excerpt: "The recent healthcare policies passed in Washington D.C. are hurting individuals and small businesses and federalizing a system that should be left to the states. Ohio is a unique state, and a federal health care system will eliminate the ability to adapt locally to the needs of our state."

Right to Bear Arms

  • Excerpt: "The right to keep and bear arms is an individual right not to be infringed by any legislature."

Pro-Life

  • Excerpt: "Abortion on demand is unconscionable, and I support efforts to preserve life and the protections guaranteed all Americans by our Constitution."
