General: She faced Deborah Kennedy and Gerald M. Martin in the general election on November 4, 2014.Martin and Burnham competed in a runoff election held November 25, 2014. Martin was successful in the runoff, bringing in 52 percent of the vote and defeating Burnham's 48 percent.[3]
