|In the course of my career, I’ve taught people ranging from school-age children to post-graduate medical doctors. Iowa’s teachers, students and parents deserve support and sufficient investment to create a great public educational system.
My parents and I pulled ourselves up by our bootstraps from working-class to the middle-class.We know how hard it is for those working for a living. We Iowans deserve fair wages for our hard work.- Inflation is rampant and I want wages to match it and for us to build products in our state and increase our infrastructure for tomorrow's jobs as well.
- Housing debt and student-loan debt and medical debt abound, I want to make public education and healthcare affordable and accessible for Iowans.
- Key to keeping wages high and debt low is strategies that grow the economy responsibly, taking families and communities and their needs in mind as we grow.
