Mary Johnson Lowe (1924-1999) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and a justice on the Supreme Court of the State of New York.

After a brief stint on the New York Supreme Court, Lowe was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on May 10, 1978, to a seat vacated by John Cannella; she was confirmed by the Senate on June 23, 1978, and received commission four days later. Lowe was succeeded in this position by Denise Cote. She assumed senior status on July 27, 1991, and served until her death on February 27, 1999.[1]
