Mary McDade
Mary McDade (Democratic Party) was a judge of the Illinois 3rd District Appellate Court. She assumed office on December 4, 2000. She left office on December 31, 2024.
McDade ran for re-election for judge of the Illinois 3rd District Appellate Court. She won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.
Education
Judge McDade received her B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan in 1961. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1984.[1]
Career
Judge McDade began her career in 1984 as a law clerk on the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois. In 1986, she joined the law firm of Quinn, Johnston, Henderson & Pretorius, where she became a partner in 1991.[1]
