2016

The following issues were listed on Perry's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Affordable Care Act: Repealing the ACA is not an option unless we replace it; or we fix it, whichever is the best solution and costs the least.
  • Education: Support the rights of parents, local school districts, and the State of Nevada to develop curriculum and set testing standards.
  • Energy: America must become energy independent. The first thing we need to do is to wean ourselves off of foreign oil.
  • Immigration Reform: We have a whole group of wonderful people who are not in this country legally. We need a plan that will correct this, while at the same time stop the continuing flood of people and contraband entering this country without permission, as well as staying longer than the permission granted.
  • Jobs and Economy: Bring jobs back to America. Tariffs should be set so that it is not cheaper to operate overseas and ship goods back to this country.
