Mary Pruitt
Mary Pruitt (b. February 3, 1934) was a Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing the 58th District from 1985-2012.
She was also a delegate for Jesse James for President in 1988.
Pruitt worked as an Educator and is now retired, and earned her B.S. and MEd from Tennessee State University.
On September 19, 2020, Pruitt passed away.[1]

2010
Pruitt won re-election to the 58th District seat in 2010. She defeated Steven Turner in the August 5 primary.[5] She faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[6]
2008
On Nov. 4, 2008, Pruitt won re-election to the 58th District Seat in the Tennessee House of Representatives, defeating opponent Lisa Leeds (I).[7]
Pruitt raised $30,059 for her campaign while Leeds raised $160.[8]
