Mary Seminara-Schostok (Republican Party) is a judge of the Illinois 2nd District Appellate Court. She assumed office in 2008. Her current term ends on December 2, 2030.

Education
Schostok received her B.S. from Youngstown State University in 1982 and her J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1986.[1]
Career
Judge Seminara-Schostok began her legal career as an assistant public defender in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. She then ran a private law practice in Pittsburgh before moving to Illinois. She began working there as an Assistant State's Attorney in Lake County. In May 1998, she was appointed to the bench as an associate judge in the 19th Judicial Circuit Court. She was elevated to circuit judge in 2001. On this court, she supervised the Juvenile Division, the Misdemeanor and Traffic Divisions, and the Law Division. She became an appellate judge in 2008.[2]
