Mary Yunker

Mary Yunker is a Tenth Judicial District judge for Sherburne County, Minnesota. She was appointed to this position in 2004 and was elected in 2006 and again in 2012 to a full term. His current term ends in January of 2019.[1]
Education
Yunker received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in 1977 and her J.D. degree from the Northwestern University School of Law in 1980.[1]
Career
Yunker began her legal career in 1980 as a staff attorney for the Civil Aeronautics Board in Washington, D.C. She served as a law clerk for the 9th Judicial District from 1982 to 1984 and then became an Assistant Mankato City Attorney. The following year, 1985, she was an Assistant Scott County Attorney. In 1986, she became an Assistant Stearns County Attorney. She held this position until 2003, when she became the Chief Deputy Sherburne County Attorney. She was appointed to the bench the following year.[1]

Yunker ran unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2] She received 99.14% of the vote.[3]
