For 59 years I have called Scottsdale home. My husband and I were both raised in South Scottsdale and that is where we raised our four children.

As a former City of Scottsdale employee, I have firsthand experience of how the city runs. As a resident, I have served on commissions, committees, and in leadership roles in our community. I will work to resolve the tough issues that come our way so that Scottsdale benefits.

I have seen so many changes while growing up in Scottsdale, buildings going up and buildings being torn down, schools opening and schools closing, but the soul of Scottsdale remains, with its people. I am committed to representing and working with those who love Scottsdale and want to preserve its character while continuing to improve and brighten its future for all the generations to come.
  • Preserve and Protect our open spaces and parks. I am in support of the question on the ballot to preserve our open spaces and parks.
  • Support the safety of our Neighborhoods and protect them from commercial hotels (STR'S) and commercial over development next to our neighborhoods.
  • Create more communication between our Scottsdale residents our our city council.
Neighborhood Preservation, Adaptive re-use and sustainability.
Municipal government is at the roots of our democracy and all persons should want to understand and should we to participate in the building and supporting of their own community.
There are many persons in my life that I have looked up to, my Mother Yvonne, who raised 6 children all while being in a wheelchair was the most important. She was the most patient, loving and intelligent example a girl could have. She raised me to know my own mind and my heart.
All public officials should work to serve their constituency without a hidden agenda. Public service should come from a pure reason to lift up your community for all.
A servants heart, a passion to build bridges(metaphorically) where needed and to help others reach their potential to serve and build.
Integrity, a servant leader mindset and passion to educate yourself on issues before acting.
I would love to help other Scottsdale residents desire to serve and make their city a better place for the future.
The assassination of Robert F. Kennedy, I was 4 years old. It was the first time I ever saw my father cry.
I worked at Legend City an amusement park in Phoenix for 2 summers. It was a great learning experience, with lots of fun.
Pride and Prejudice, I am a lover of Austen.
The knowledge of how the city is run is important, and experience in the processes is helpful, but holding office prior is not.
A desire to serve the residents of Scottsdale without a partisan agenda is imperative. You are elect to serve all not just those you agree with.
