Maryland's history of ballot measures shows consistency

ANNAPOLIS, Maryland: The state of Maryland has seen a consistency of ballot measures make the statewide ballot for voters to decide, according to the state's history of the past ten years. According to Ballotpedia's database of ballot measures, the state has seen ballot measures in 2008, 2006, 2002 and 2000.
Out of the eleven measures that have been on the ballot in the past decade, not including 2010, ten were approved by Maryland voters, with only one being rejected. The one that was rejected was a measure in 2000 that asked voters to authorize the Prince George's County Council to take property immediately upon a finding of immediate need for redevelopment purposes. The measure was rejected by a vote of 499,689 (38%) to 799,654 (62%).
