The Maryland Amend Article 5, Section 9 of the Constitution Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 5, 1901 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure amended the ninth section of article five of the Constitution, which relates to the Attorney General and State's Attorneys.[1][2]
