The Maryland Changes in Congressional Districts Amendment, also known as Amendment 6, was on the November 6, 1962 ballot in Maryland as a veto referendum, where it was defeated. The measure would have created an eighth Congressional district and changed the boundaries of the other districts.[1][2]
