The Maryland Compensation for Veterans Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 4, 1924 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure permitted the state to pledge its credit to raise funds needed for the aid or compensation of war veterans.[1][2]
