The Maryland Compensation for the General Assembly Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the November 6, 1962 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have increased the compensation for members and officers of the general assembly.[1][2]
