Maryland County Requirements to Contract Debts, Amendment 15 (1960)

The Maryland County Requirements to Contract Debts Amendment, also known as Amendment 15, was on the November 8, 1960 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure modified the requirements for any county to contract debts or obligations by eliniating the requirements of publication of the act of the general assembly authorizing such debt or loan.[1][2]
