Maryland General Assembly Membership, Question 1 (1972)

The Maryland General Assembly Membership Amendment, also known as Question 1, was on the November 7, 1972 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure established that the Maryland General Assembly consisted of 47 senators and 141 delegates. The measure also established guidelines for drawing districts and provided an implementation plan.[1]
