The Maryland Land Assessment and Classification Amendment, also known as Amendment 13, was on the November 8, 1960 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure granted the general assembly the power to provide for the separate assessment, classification and sub-classification of land, improvements on land and personal property. The measure also required that all taxes levied shall be uniform to each class or sub-class of land, improvements and personal property.[1][2]
