Maryland Local Approval of Amendments, Question 1 (1978)

The Maryland Local Approval of Amendments Amendment, also known as Question 1, was on the November 7, 1978 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure required that a proposed Constitutional Amendment that is determined to affect only one county or the city of Baltimore receive local approval as well as statewide approval before becoming effective.[1]
