Maryland Municipal Court of Baltimore, Amendment 9 (1962)

The Maryland Municipal Court of Baltimore Amendment, also known as Amendment 9, was on the November 6, 1962 ballot in Maryland as a veto referendum, where it was approved. The measure provided for the organization and operation of the Municipal Court of Baltimore. The measure created guidelines for the items such as the number of judges, jurisdiction, sentencing, probation, summonses, compensation and retirement of judges, tenure of employees and distribution of fines.[1][2]
