Maryland Petition Filing Requirements, Question 13 (1976)

The Maryland Petition Filing Requirements Amendment, also known as Question 13, was on the November 2, 1976 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure changed the proportion of names to be filed in a referendum petition by a certain date and changed the deadline for filing a petition for referendum. The measure also authorized the general assembly to prescribe the form of a referendum petition, the manner of its verification and other necessary administrative procedures.[1]
