The Maryland Powers of Prince George's County Amendment, also known as Question 19, was on the November 2, 1976 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have allowed Prince George's County to acquire and develop or dispose of certain areas in the county. The measure also would have allowed the county to exercise certain powers of taxation and extend public credit.[1]
