The Maryland Prince George's County Land Acquisition Amendment, also known as Question 1, was on the November 5, 1968 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have provided an optional procedure for the acquisition of land by the Board of County Commissioners in Prince George's County for the construction or extension of county roads and streets after payment of fair value of the property to the owners.[1]
