Maryland Qualifications of Associate Judges, Amendment 4 (1940)

The Maryland Qualifications of Associate Judges Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the November 5, 1940 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have provided for residential qualifications and a method of selection of Associate Judges in the Third Judicial Circuit.[1][2]
