The Maryland Reconsideration of Bills Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 7, 1950 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided that bills vetoed by the governor may be sent back to the House where it originated for reconsideration. If approved by a majority in that House, the bill would be sent to the other House where the bill may become law if approved by the second House.[1][2]
