The Maryland Repeal Article 38 of the Declaration of Rights Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 7, 1944 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have repealed Article 38 of the Declaration of Rights.[1][2]
