Maryland State Works of Internal Improvement, Question 16 (1976)

The Maryland State Works of Internal Improvement Amendment, also known as Question 16, was on the November 2, 1976 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure authorized the general assembly to involve the state in the construction of works of internal improvement which do not involve pledging the faith or credit of the state.[1]
