The Maryland Summary of Charter County Laws Amendment, also known as Question 8, was on the November 7, 1972 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided for the publication of the titles or a summary of laws proposed for enactment in a charter county. The measure also clarified a provision concerning the title of the Chief Executive Officer of the county council.[1]
