Maryland Treasury Department Deputies, Amendment 1 (1930)

The Maryland Treasury Department Deputies Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 4, 1930 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure gave the legislature the power to authorize deputies working for the Treasury Department to sign and grant warrants, as well as to sigh and issue checks for the withdrawal of funds from the state treasury.[1][2]
