Maryland Unemployment Insurance Laws, Amendment 7 (1962)

The Maryland Unemployment Insurance Laws Amendment, also known as Amendment 7, was on the November 6, 1962 ballot in Maryland as a veto referendum, where it was approved. The measure amended unemployment insurance laws with respect to eligibility for benefits, to the amount and period of benefits payable for claimants and dependents, to disqualifications or reductions of benefits and for certain causes to eliminate vacation pay from the exemption from the definition of wages.[1][2]
